For safely storing small quantities of paints, chemicals and other dangerous substances, look no further than our range of mini hazardous substance cabinets. The heavy-duty, yellow, powder-coated steel units are fitted with reinforced doors, one adjustable shelf, a lockable handle and a fully-welded, leak-proof sump base. The storage cupboards conform to Health & Safety Executive Guide HSG51 and DSEAR 2002 and come with GHS labelling to ensure compliance with the most recent regulations. The primary label supplied is ‘Flammable’ but every cabinet also comes with ‘Oxidising’ and ‘Explosive' labels; the labels are easy to peel so they can be switched if necessary.
Why not add a stand to raise the cupboard to a more convenient height?
It is the employers’ responsibility to gather information on hazardous substances and the risks they pose and either eradicate or control said risks. These cabinets should be used as part of a complete COSHH risk assessment plan to minimise exposure to such substances. You should also make sure that anyone exposed is provided with the appropriate personal protective equipment. In accordance with HSE guidelines, the user must ensure that cabinet has the correct signage for the chemicals stored within.
Please note that the cabinets are not fireproof.
