The collision guards protect the racking against damage from impacts, such as that caused by being hit by a forklift truck while positioning pallets for example. Because they are powder-coated in high-visibility orange, they also make it easier for truck operators to see the uprights to prevent impacts in the first place. The protectors fit around three sides of the upright at floor level and securely bolt to the floor.
