Platform weighing scales

These compact platform scales are easy to use and let you work wherever you need to as they can be battery operated. The remote aluminium indicator has a backlit LCD and can be position wherever you can see it most clearly, whether on a wall, benchtop or elsewhere. It also has a display hold function that lets you see the value once the weight has been removed. The dynamic weighing capability means the scales can be used on unsteady surfaces or to weigh animals; the stabilisation time is 2 seconds. You can connect the scales to a computer or printer using the bi-directional R-232 interface and request gross, net and tare weights be sent automatically using standard commands. The grade 304 stainless steel platform rests on a mild steel base and is removable for easy cleaning. You can power the units using mains power or batteries (6 x AA batteries required, not included).
