Fully-welded access platform for use with forklift trucks to facilitate safe work at height. The non-integrated working platform complies with HSE guidance PM28 and includes safety features such as fork heel locks, a slam shut gate, safety rails and an expanded metal floor with toe board.
Product information
Turn your forklift truck into a lift with this access platform that locks onto the forks with threaded screw jacks and fork heel locks. The platform allows you to safely work at any height that your forklift can handle. It is ideal for stocktaking, installation and maintenance tasks, and can also be used to provide access to mezzanine floors. The fully-welded steel access platform has a raised, expanded metal floor, which allows liquids to drain if necessary, with a kickboard surround made of sheet steel. It is fitted with a rear RSA frame with wire mesh panelling, and tubular safety rails including a handrail that is 1010 mm high and an intermediate rail. Operatives can enter the platform via a hinged entry gate on the side. The gate is 510 mm wide and has a spring-return closing mechanism and slam bolt that holds it in place when shut. The access deck is manufactured to HSE guidance note PM28 (3rd edition) December 2005. It is approved to be used by two people of average weight and has a maximum load capacity of 350 kg.
