The add-on section is supplied with a wall-mounted upright onto which you hook one end of the shelf. The other end you hook onto the wall-mounted uprights of the basic section. Because the wall-mounted uprights are perforated, you can affix the shelf at any height. Both the hat rack and the shoe rack are made of tubular steel and have birch detailing.
The tubular construction prevents dust and dirt from building up on the shelving. The hat rack is supplied with two double hooks for hanging jackets, coats, bags, etc. The shelf has a drip tray that collects dirt and water and makes cleaning easier.
