This robust salt and grit bin is moulded from medium-density polyethylene (MDPE), which is non-corrosive and can withstand low temperatures. The grit bin opens at the top like a chest and also has a hopper feed that dispenses the salt or grit from the bottom of the bin. This gives you easy access to the contents and helps you to load your salt spreader or shovel in the most convenient way. Forklift-truck grooves make it easier to move the container when full. The 200 L model holds 8 x 25 kg bags of salt while the 400 L holds 16 x 25 kg bags.
