This drum lid is particularly well suited for use with flammable and ignitable materials. The lid is designed to fit an open drum and can convert a standard drum into a bin for combustible materials. It is fitted with a fusible link that melts at 73˚C, triggering the lid to shut automatically in order to extinguish flames in the event of a fire. The drum lid is made from galvanised steel with a durable, chemical-resistant, epoxy powder coating. It is very easy to attach the lid or remove it from the drum using a screwdriver and an adjustable spanner.
