The lid conceals and protects the contents of the bin and also reduces the risk of fire breaking out when flammable or chemcial waste is deposited by reducing the flow of oxygen to the bin.
Two handles at the sides of the bin make it easy to lift and move. To make handling even easier, you can add a set of castors (sold separately; see accessories).
