High classroom chair

These lab chairs are ideal for use in school science labs as well as Food and Design Technology classrooms: anywhere where pupils sit at a higher than normal desk. The high chairs are much more comfortable and supportive than stools thanks to the S-shaped backrest, which keeps children’s backs in a natural position. As with other Titan chairs, they have a one-piece seat made of high-impact polypropylene with no sharp edges; the seat is securely bolted to a silver, powder-coated steel frame with tamperproof fixings. The unique frame design is designed to protect laboratory flooring or matting and comes with a footrest so that students can sit more comfortably. The classroom chairs are FIRA tested to BS EN 1729 Parts 1 and 2 to provide the right seating position for children of all ages and, as such, come in various heights:

Seat height 445 mm = 5-7 years
Seat height 560 mm = 7-9 years
Seat height 610 mm = 9-13 years
Seat height 685 mm = 13+ years
