The lock is powered by four AA batteries (not included).
The safes are supplied with a mechanical backup lock for emergency opening if the batteries run out. Prepared for mounting on floor or wall. We recommend mounting the safe on the wall or floor to make it as difficult as possible for a burglar to take with them. Another way to increase security is to change the code several times a year.
