The add-on unit is made of powder-coated sheet steel. It has an end frame that holds one end of the shelves and the other shelf end attaches to the end frame of the basic unit. This method of assembly saves space and minimises the number of uprights on the floor.
The welded reinforcement rails on the shelves gives each shelf a maximum load capacity of 170 kg. It is possible to install the shelves at any height and move them up or down as required. The uprights are fitted with plastic feet to protect the floor against scratches.
