This may result in poor concentration and low productivity among both students and staff. The SONITUS desk, which has a top with excellent sound-dampening properties, helps to resolve the problem.
The top is covered in linoleum, which is easy to clean or wipe down. Linoleum is made from natural and renewable raw materials. Compared with other sound-absorbent materials, it has a small carbon footprint. The linoleum we use for the SONITUS desk has the Nordic Ecolabel.
There are several advantages to round desks. Nobody ends up stuck out on a corner and everyone can make eye contact with the other people around the desk. It is also easier for everyone to join in the conversation. Furthermore, a round desk has space for a relatively large number of people without taking up too much room. The desk has a robust steel frame with legs made of sturdy, round tubing. The entire frame is powder coated in understated colours.
