Fire and burglary safe DEFEND

Fire-proof and burglary-protection, approved safe for storing cash, jewellery, valuables and other property attractive to thieves. The cabinet provides a secure storage solution for offices, smaller stores and companies that handle smaller quantities of theft-prone valuables and confidential documents and want to protect the contents from fire and theft. The smaller model is fitted with two shelves and the larger model has three shelves. The door has an LCD code lock and is secured with several hefty locking bolts.
The safe is tested and approved by SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden according to NT Fire 17, fire rating 60P. The certification NT Fire 17 is the Nordic test method for fire protection. The tested cabinets are assigned a fire rating based on what is to be stored in them: 60P, 90P or 120P for paper and 60 Diskette or 120 Diskette for data media. The figures indicate the number of minutes the cabinets can withstand in a 1000°C oven before the inner temperature reaches the critical point of 175°C for paper or 50°C for data media. The fire rating 60P means that your papers and important documents are protected from fire for 60 minutes.
The safe is burglary-protection rated according to EN 1143-1, Grade I. The certification is the European standard for burglary rating of safes. During testing, several burglary attempts occur and the cabinet is security rated in grades. The higher the grade, the more money the insurance company allows you to store in the cabinet. Grade I is the lowest security classification for safes. We recommend you seek advice from your insurance company as to the exact amount they approve for storing in your cabinet.
