PVC strip curtains are an ideal protective barrier against fumes, dust, draughts and even noise. This buffer strip curtain is designed to further increase the screen’s life in the most demanding impact conditions, such as areas where forklift trucks are in operation.
Product information
Our buffer strip curtains are made from high quality, low toxic, cadmium-free, ribbed PVC, which offers extremely good clarity and consistency of colour. The PVC is REACH compliant and UV stabilised for a longer life. Suitable for temperatures from -15°C to +50°C. They are recommended for use in factories to reduce noise, warehouses to keep the heat in (or out!), shops to separate the shop floor from the stockroom and in any number of other environments. For areas where forklifts operate, standard strip curtains may wear quickly; buffer curtains are manufactured to provide a more durable barrier that can withstand the force of repeated impacts.
There are options available to suit internal or external doorways and for use with both pedestrian and vehicular traffic. We recommend: 200 mm x 2 mm (with minimum or medium overlap) for internal pedestrian traffic; 300 mm x 2 mm or 300 mm x 3 mm (with medium or maximum overlap) for internal forklift traffic; and 300 mm x 3 mm or 400 mm x 4 mm (with medium or maximum overlap) for external or cold store doors with all types of traffic.
